One Year Later

Kendall recently celebrated being ONE YEAR NEVUS FREE!

She's grown and changed so much, her last surgery feels like forever ago.

We recently met with sister's surgeon, Dr. Wood, regarding scar revision surgery.

She has a quarter-sized bald spot in the back corner where the scar has stretched, which is common.

Dr. Wood can go in and remove some of this scar tissue, reducing the size by up to 50%.

It will be a quick, same-day surgery sometime this summer.

No biggie, we know K can handle it! 

Everything else is looking TERRIFIC and we are all so very pleased with the tissue expansion results.

Kendall is spunky, social and adds so much JOY to our family.

Lately, her favorite thing is "helping" me in the kitchen--I'm pretty sure she's just in it for taste testing ;)

We're also in the process of having her sleep in her BIG GIRL BED...

Which is exciting and terrifying at the same time.

It's mostly hard to admit she's not a baby anymore!
